About me.

Denver is home for now. I have two great kids that fill my heart every single day. My friends are my family and without them I would probably lose my mind. Dirty jokes, tattoos, and music make my world go round. I love art in any form, with photography being my own personal obsession. Make me laugh and I'll pretty much adore you, like ridiculously so. The End.

17 more days.

Until school starts. I can't even believe it.

The boy: Mom, do we have to wash her hindquarters?

Me: Uh, yeah dude. You wash your hindquarters, don't you?

The boy: But... that's her BUSINESS!!!

Me: I know. And, you wash your butt right?

The boy: Mom! You're membarrassing me!

Me: Just making sure. That's my job.

The boy: Membarrassing me? Or making sure I wash?

Me: Both. It's my reward for 13 hours of labor.

Kids are so funny! Fun captures - and I am so wishing this summer would SLOW down - I am not ready to go back to school (when kids go, every parent in the world with school age children go back in my opinion - it is a joint effort...and not always a fun one!)

That is a hilarious conversation! I like the shots of the kid feet and the doggie feet.

LOL! I love the dialogue and I love the photos! I really like the 2nd and last one; something about all the water splashing about makes it so appealing! This looks so much like our process of washing the Beautiful Ms. Bonnie, except we feed her treats every 30 seconds! I've always wanted to get some shots of it, but the process would need a 3rd person so I could makes sure my camera didn't get wet :)

Love the last shot--the way you daughter is holding her hand tells the whole story of the water being shaken off and sprayed around!!

ROFL! That conversation is priceless! (sounds like me on a daily basis, explaining to my kids why I make them do things around the house- gasp) LOVE your photos, you take what would come out as blah snapshots from me and turn them into pure "real life" art! Awesome. (sorry about the photo stealing escapade too.. that blows.)

That's too funny. All great shots!
What a good mommy, making them wash the dog while you photograph.
